Over the coming months we’ll be hosting stalls, pop-ups, and activations at venues and festivals across the country talking to music fans about climate. We are currently looking for some keen folks to help the NO MUSIC ON A DEAD PLANET campaign next month at Party In The Paddock festival in lutruwita/Tasmania.

If you are keen to help out in lutruwita, or want to keep in the loop on other upcoming events, get in touch!

Big shout out to our group of climate-conscious artists at Woodford Folk Festival, who met up on-stage and backstage to connect, talk climate, and through song joined the long lineage of musicians who have advocated for justice and environmental action ✊

In September 2024, we brought together 17 of Australia’s leading artists for our special Sound Country Artist Retreat in lutruwita/Tasmania. Together we yarned, we sang and schemed for a better world. We captured this experience in a stunning video which you can now watch. We can’t wait to see these extraordinary artists channel this experience to create and inspire meaningful change.

Thank you to our funders, the Water Dragon Endowment, a part of the Community Impact Foundation and the NSW Government through Create NSW.

From the decks to the thrift racks, DJ/producer Anna Lunoe is proof that style and sustainability go hand in hand. With a ‘low waste, high spirit’ approach, she makes mindful choices in her merch releases and as a consumer.

By opting for recycled materials, Anna avoided the use of water, pesticides and oil based dyes for her ‘Saturday Love’ t-shirts 👕

The release of the 2024 Sound Country guide is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.

CAMPING BUDDY

Over New Year’s, we partnered with festivals (like Lost Paradise above!) to help fans create low-waste campsites using Camping Buddy, the ultimate festival sidekick. This free platform helps campers plan ahead, track their gear, and borrow from mates—avoiding last-minute purchases, reducing waste, and supporting clean, green music festivals.

If you’re attending Nannup Music Festival or Party In The Paddock, explore Camping Buddy to prepare for your next camping adventure! 🏕️

Camping Buddy is funded by the NSW Environmental Trust.
