The Music Product Stewardship Alliance, convened by Green Music Australia, brings Australia’s leading labels, distributors, manufacturers, and retailers together with the aim to improve the environmental impact of physical recorded music products, such as vinyl and CDs.
Using data and insights provided by alliance members, and combining it with the latest in research and technological advancements from around the world, Green Music Australia collects research, facilitates working groups, and presents roundtable discussions with industry leaders to identify collective issues and solutions.
The alliance launched in February 2024, and has delivered two Roundtable events. In 2024, the Alliance aims to set benchmarks and goals based on the research and ideas discussed amongst its members. To learn more or join the alliance, email [email protected]
