Launched in 2019, the alliance supports festivals to navigate the growing pressures around environmental responsibility, audience expectations, and operational challenges.

Party With The Planet connects festivals, workers and suppliers already taking practical action, provides tools and insight to those starting out, and helps the whole sector move forward together.

Our Purpose:

• Facilitate honest, practical conversations between festivals about sustainability challenges and solutions
• Create a space for mentorship, learning and support especially for festivals without dedicated sustainability teams
• Share tools, contacts and real-world examples to help festivals take the next step, whatever stage they’re at
• Identify collective priorities and amplify the great work already being done
• Help the industry reduce its environmental impact, through shared purpose
• Support shared messaging and tools across festivals to reduce duplication and increase impact
• Inspire audiences to respect the land we gather on, and connect with local First Nations communities
