Going plastic free at Australia’s biggest music conference!
As many of you know, once each year a who’s who of Australia’s music scene gathers in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley for the BIGSOUND festival and conference. We’ve attended and presented a couple of times, helping to build support and awareness.
But this year’s different. This year is big.
This year, BIGSOUND has adopted #BYOBottle! Every delegate and every showcasing musician will get a beautiful reusable bottle; we’ve worked with BIGSOUND’s organisers to put refilling stations around the conference site and beer garden; the official conference materials remind people to keep a hold of their bottle, explaining why it’s important; and we’ve got a panel setting out what can and must be done, on the opening day, tomorrow!

We’re also always looking for new artists, festivals, venues and others to get involved. Here’s a list of artists on board so far! You can share that, too, and tag musicians you know, asking them to get involved!
