CREATIVE CLIMATE LAUNCH

Last month we were thrilled to host the official launch of Creative Climate – a First Nations and artist-led national consortium. The consortium will serve as the peak body for arts and climate action, driving systemic change across the sector.

We’ve been hitting stages, panels, and festivals around the country to champion climate leadership in music. Catch us at the upcoming events:

• Downshift Festival (July 28, Hobart): Tim Shiel (GMA Community Organiser) will join artists on a panel to discuss arts-led climate action.
• AAM Member Drop-In (August 7, Online): Tim Shiel (GMA Community Organiser) and Georgia Cooke (Engagement and Partnerships Manager) to learn how artists managers can lead on practical climate action and advocacy.
• APRA AMCOS Artist Webinar (August 12, Online): Berish Bilander (GMA CEO) will talk to artists on practical ways to improve their footprint and advocate for change.
• BIGSOUND (September): Join Emma Bosworth (National Program Manager) on a Green Venue Tour of Fortitude Music Hall, exploring how venues can improve their environmental action.
